Senior Project Manager

Senior Project ManagerStarr & Associates is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple client initiatives across AI innovation, technology, supply chain, and business transformation. The role requires strong end to end project delivery experience, the ability to manage several projects at the same time, and experience coordinating cross functional teams and senior stakeholders. Candidates should have experience managing or supporting AI, data, analytics, automation, or other innovation initiatives. Experience supporting Supply Chain initiatives such as Control Tower, planning, inventory visibility, manufacturing, supplier management, logistics, or operational analytics is highly desirable. Experience in MedTech, medical devices, life sciences, or other regulated industries is preferred but not required. Consulting or professional services experience is a plus. Candidates must currently live in the Atlanta metropolitan area.Core responsibilities include:Leading multiple concurrent projects from initiation through delivery, maintaining clear accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, and outcomes.Developing and maintaining integrated project plans, milestones, work plans, dependency maps, RAID logs, decision logs, and governance routines.Coordinating cross functional teams across business, technology, data, analytics, AI, supply chain, operations, and external partners to keep delivery aligned and on schedule.Facilitating project meetings, working sessions, steering committee reviews, and executive status discussions with clear actions, decisions, and follow through.Managing client and internal stakeholders, clarifying priorities and expectations, and communicating progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions in a concise manner.Managing resource plans, competing priorities, project financials, change requests, and delivery forecasts as appropriate for each engagement.Identifying risks and issues early, leading resolution planning, escalating when needed, and maintaining ownership through closure.Supporting program level planning across related initiatives, including roadmaps, cross project dependencies, consolidated status, shared resource considerations, and coordination across multiple workstreams.Applying Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches and supporting Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives when appropriate.Leading or supporting AI and innovation projects through use case identification, discovery, pilot planning, proof of concept delivery, testing, stakeholder adoption, deployment, and transition to sustained operations.Managing Supply Chain and operational transformation initiatives that may include Control Tower solutions, supply and demand planning, inventory visibility, supplier collaboration, manufacturing or production operations, logistics, and analytics.Qualifications needed include:Bachelor's degree required in Business, Project Management, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, Technology, or a related discipline.7+ years of professional project management experience, including responsibility for multiple concurrent projects or workstreams.Demonstrated experience managing complex cross functional initiatives involving business and technology stakeholders.Experience managing or supporting AI, data, analytics, automation, or other innovation projects from discovery through delivery or pilot deployment.Experience with Agile delivery methods and familiarity with traditional and hybrid project management approaches.Program management experience or coordination of related projects and workstreams is strongly preferred.This is a hybrid role. Candidates must currently reside in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Regular in-office work and travel to client sites are expected.Skills required include:Project planning, schedule and scope management, budgeting, resource planning, RAID management, change control, and executive reporting.Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, decision management, and cross functional team coordination.Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum practices, Waterfall delivery, and hybrid project delivery models.Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau, and Miro.Ability to use AI enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot to improve planning, documentation, analysis, and communication.Required competencies include:Leadership: Builds alignment, creates accountability, and leads effectively without direct authority.Communication: Communicates clearly with project teams, clients, executives, and technical stakeholders.Organization: Manages multiple priorities, deadlines, and workstreams while maintaining focus on outcomes.Problem Solving: Evaluates complex situations and drives practical, timely resolution.Facilitation: Leads productive meetings that clarify issues, ownership, and decisions.Adaptability: Adjusts quickly to changing priorities, technologies, and client needs.Consulting Mindset: Demonstrates professionalism, judgment, client focus, accountability, and follow through.Preferred experience includes:Experience managing AI, generative AI, automation, advanced analytics, or digital innovation initiatives.Experience managing Supply Chain initiatives involving Control Tower, planning, inventory, manufacturing, suppliers, logistics, or end to end visibility.Experience within MedTech, medical devices, life sciences, healthcare, or another regulated industry.Prior management consulting or professional services experience in a client facing delivery role.Program management, portfolio governance, or multi project delivery experience.
