As a Security Officer Full Time Electronic Entry Operations in Shreveport, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and responding to security-related concerns. You will remain visible, communicate professionally, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit activity, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining required access records.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and communication systems; report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders when directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
