Faculty OB/GYN Physician - Family Medicine Residency Program in Daytona Beach,Florida!

Highlights:

We're seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) physician to join our faculty. This is a hybrid academic-clinical position that combines teaching and supervision of family medicine residents with an independent clinical practice. The OB-GYN faculty member will maintain their own panel of patients with dedicated clinic and operating room time while serving a vital role in resident education, mentorship, and program development.

• Full time, Employed Faculty Member position

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including:

  • Prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.

  • Gynecologic care and procedures.

  • Surgical management of gynecologic conditions with dedicated OR time.

• Serve as an attending physician supervising family medicine residents in:

  • Labor and delivery and outpatient OB/GYN clinics

• Participate in obstetric call coverage as defined by institutional and program needs.

• Ensure high-quality, evidence-based, and patient-centered care while meeting institutional quality and documentation standards.

• Maintain an independent outpatient OB-GYN practice with a personal panel of patients.

• Prior experience in academic medicine or resident education preferred

• Interest in curriculum development or educational leadership

• Strong clinical skills and a passion for teaching

Scholarly and Academic Responsibilities

• Participate in scholarly activity consistent with ACGME expectations, which may include:

  • Educational scholarship

  • Quality improvement or patient safety initiatives

  • Clinical research or case reports

• Participate in residency faculty meetings, educational committees, and program evaluation activities.

• Support accreditation requirements and continuous program improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Must hold US citizenship or permanent residency

• Must obtain a Florida license
