Bar and restaurant in Dallas Downtown

Full-time | Hourly pay based on experience | Typically 36–42 hours per week

Typical shifts: 3 p.m. to 10 or 11 p.m.

Bring your kitchen skills to an American Italian restaurant in Dallas Downtown. We are hiring line cooks, prep cooks, pizza cooks and dishwashers who take pride in consistent food, a clean kitchen and dependable teamwork. Work alongside our executive chef and build your skills through daily service.

What you will do

·        Line cooks: Set up your station, prepare dishes to recipe standards and coordinate timing with the kitchen team in high-volume production environments

·        Prep cooks: Prepare ingredients, follow recipes and portioning guidelines, and keep products labeled and organized. Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures

·        Pizza cooks and pizzaiolos: Prepare and cook pizzas with consistent attention to dough, toppings and cooking times.

·        All roles: Follow food safety and hygiene standards, check ingredient freshness, clean work areas and keep walk-in and dry storage organized. Familiarity with various cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and sautéing

What you bring

·        Reliability, organization and a calm, focused approach during busy service.

·        Ability to follow directions and communicate with supervisors and teammates work efficiently in a fast-paced setting .

·        For cooking roles: Knowledge of cooking methods, safe knife skills and accurate recipe execution.

·        For pantry cook assignments: At least two years of commercial kitchen experience.

·        For cooking roles: High school diploma or equivalent; culinary education preferred.
