Business Intelligence Analyst

Business Intelligence (Bi) AnalystQuanta Power Solutions is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to design and deliver the dashboards and reporting solutions that drive decision-making across the organization. You'll work directly with functional leaders to translate operational and reporting needs into well-modeled, reliable analytics – owning solutions end-to-end, from understanding the question to building the dashboard that answers it. This is a hands-on role for someone equally comfortable partnering with business stakeholders and building reporting solutions in Power BI and Databricks.Responsibilities include partnering with business leaders and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into analytics solutions, designing, developing, and maintaining data models, dashboards, reports, and function-specific business logic in Power BI and Databricks, ensuring the datasets feeding your analytics solutions are available, accurate, and governed, ensuring reporting reliability through validation, testing, and QA, presenting findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders and leadership, performing ad hoc analysis to surface trends, opportunities, risks, and operational insights, promoting self-service analytics by enabling and supporting business users on BI tools and reports, developing and maintaining reporting standards, documentation, and best practices, identifying opportunities to automate and streamline reporting and business processes, and performing other duties and special projects as assigned.Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, business, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience), 5+ years building business intelligence solutions, dashboards, and reporting tools, advanced Power BI skills, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling (semantic models), proven ability to transform, model, and visualize data for analytics and reporting, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of translating business needs into technical solutions, proficiency with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, SharePoint, Forms, and Lists, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, clear communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences, ability to work independently while partnering effectively with the enterprise data platform team, and strong organizational, project, and time management skills.Preferred qualifications include experience working with Databricks or a similar lakehouse platform, experience with JD Edwards, EcoSys, P6, InEight, and similar systems, SQL skills for querying and validating data working within enterprise data standards and access controls, experience supporting different organizational functions such as finance, project controls, supply chain, operations, human resources, etc., and experience in engineering, construction, infrastructure, energy, or industrial organizations.Benefits include competitive compensation, weekly pay, 401(k) retirement plan, holiday pay, paid time off (PTO), comprehensive health coverage, pet insurance, employee assistance program (EAP), professional development, tuition assistance, and employee discount program.Equal opportunity employer.
