Job Details

We are currently looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Senior Tax Manager to join our team. This role requires an individual who is passionate about the financial world and has a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in Federal & State Tax, S Corp, High Net Worth, 1065 partnership, Accounting Advisory, and Tax Review. Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the preparation of Federal and State tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations, particularly those with high net worth.
• Guiding and advising clients on tax planning and compliance, keeping them updated with the latest tax laws and regulations.
• Reviewing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws.
• Providing leadership and supervision to the tax team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Managing tax audits and inquiries, representing clients before tax authorities when necessary.
• Conducting tax research and planning, developing strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Collaborating with other departments to provide accounting advisory services and implement tax-efficient strategies.
• Ensuring that all tax filings are completed accurately and on time, minimizing penalties and interest charges.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification would be an added advantage.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, with a focus on Federal & State Tax, S Corp, High Net Worth, and 1065 partnership.
• Proven experience in Accounting Advisory and Tax Review.
• Comprehensive knowledge of current tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
• High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
• Proficiency in using tax software and other related financial systems.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
