About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 5 years required License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Previous charge experience. - Experience with a patient ratio of 4. - Required experience with charting systems. - Required experience in trauma Level II settings. - Travel experience required. Description: Emergency Room Registered Nurse needed. Must possess required certifications ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC. Every other weekend work is required. Five years of experience is required as per management. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census ranges from 50 to 70 patients. The unit operates with a total of 12 rooms and 11 beds. The patient ratios during the day, night, and weekends are 4 patients per nurse. Skills needed include BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation, and emergency medications. Ability to interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias is essential. Experience with isolation precautions, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation administration and monitoring is required. Triage skills and interdisciplinary support experience are advantageous. Candidates must comply with onboarding procedures including work history verification.
