Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring that each assessment is thorough and individualized.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, aspirations, and preferences, using evidence-based practices.

• Implement therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adjusting strategies as necessary based on client progress.

• Provide educational support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, coping strategies, and self-care practices to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, maintaining records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork by coordinating with psychiatrists and other professionals to foster comprehensive, integrated care.

• Appropriately advocate for clients, addressing mental health stigma and ensuring that their unique needs are recognized and met.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our client base is diverse, comprising individuals from various backgrounds, including refugees, the homeless, and victims of domestic abuse. Your role is vital in helping these individuals navigate their challenges and develop resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
