Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, duration, and impact of mood disorder symptoms among clients.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to facilitate therapeutic progress.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure effectiveness and responsiveness to evolving needs.

• Consult with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Stay informed on developments in mood disorder treatment through research and continued education initiatives.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve clients who are coping with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Your work will involve providing therapy to individuals facing significant mental health challenges, including vulnerable groups such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse.
