Manufacturing Technician 1

Manufacturing Technician 1 position at GE HealthCare supporting product development and manufacturing in Aurora, Ohio. Responsibilities include equipment setup, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of results under close supervision.

Responsibilities

Test production assemblies and sub-assemblies for correct operation and compliance with specifications
Set up, calibrate, operate, and maintain standard production and test equipment per detailed instructions
Perform routine experiments, diagnostics, and troubleshooting to resolve equipment or process issues
Collect, analyze test data, and maintain accurate records of work performed and test results
Participate in quality control inspections and continuous improvement activities

Requirements

Associate's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or technology field; or high school diploma with 2+ years technician-level experience
Ability to troubleshoot at subsystem and system levels using problem-solving techniques
Skill in interpreting basic technical documentation and drawing conclusions from test data
Demonstrated attention to detail and quality-focused work habits
Proficiency in English communication
Capability to work with limited direction and information
