Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Peoria, IL. This role involves working in an acute care setting where you will play a crucial part in patient care with opportunities to float to ICU and Acute Rehab units.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide care for patients with respiratory failure, post-surgical needs, wound care, IV antibiotics, post-CVA, post-trauma, and cardiac conditions
• Perform PEG tube care and feedings, and manage CVC/PICC/Midline usage and care
• Care for tracheostomy patients
• Titrate Heparin drips as required

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated
• BLS required; ACLS preferred but not required
• Experience with titrating drips, especially Heparin
• Proficiency in using respiratory equipment, with an emphasis on troubleshooting
