Job Description Job Description Truss Builder- Weekly Pay- Start ASAP Pay: $21/hour Location: Brandon, SD Hours: Monday-Friday, 7 am- 5:30 pm Job Description: Work as a Truss Builder in a modern, indoor truss plant located in Brandon, SD, assembling floor and wall trusses in a brand-new facility. This role involves standing and walking for extended periods, using basic hand and power tools, and performing repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail. Responsibilities: Build floor and wall trusses according to specifications and production requirements. Read and interpret tape measurements accurately to ensure precise cuts and assembly. Use basic hand tools, including hammers, and power tools safely and effectively. Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining consistent quality and productivity. Stand, walk, and work on your feet for up to 10 hours per day in an indoor plant environment Essential Skills: Previous carpentry or construction experience is required. Wall framing experience is strongly preferred. Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately. Proficiency with basic hand tools such as hammers. Comfort and familiarity with power tools in a construction setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience working in a truss plant or similar production environment is beneficial. general construction or building trades is an advantage. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn standardized processes. Why Work Here? Work Environment: This position is based in a brand-new indoor truss plant facility in Brandon, SD. You will work in a construction production environment that involves regular use of hand tools and power tools, with significant standing and walking throughout the day. The standard schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on a mandatory basis, with additional hours available on Fridays and Saturdays on a voluntary basis. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brandon, SD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
