EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Part-Time, 10-Month Position

POSITION SUMMARY
Roselle Park School District is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and compassionate individual to join our team as Registered Behavior Technician. The Registered Behavior Technician will provide direct behavioral and instructional support to students. The Registered Behavior Technician will be responsible for implementing evidence-based interventions, skill-acquisition programs, and data-collection procedures under the direction of the District Behaviorist (BCBA).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in education, psychology, applied behavior analysis, or a related field preferred.
• Valid RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board required.
• Experience supporting students with ASD and/or complex behavioral needs, or developmental disabilites in school settings preferred.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis, positive behavior supports, behavior reduction, skill acquisition, and data-collection procedures.
• Ability to maintain all training, supervision, professional development, and certification requirements associated with RBT certification.
• Strong organizational, collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accomodation.

SALARY: $27.61 per hour - $28.81 per hour

Hours per week may vary depending on case load.

Final salary commensurate with experience and in accordance with the Roselle Park Education Association's collectively bargained agreement.

BENEFITS: Position is part-time, non-benefits eligible.

Paid sick, personal, and bereavement allotments in accordance with the Roselle Park Education Association's collectively bargained agreement.

Participation in NJ Division of Pensions & Benefits DCRP Retirement System.
