Bartender at MOGO/Hannah's - Pier Village

Hannah's - A Modern Korean Pocha is seeking experienced, motivated, energetic, and hospitality-driven Bartenders to join our opening team at Pier Village. This is not just a bartending position - it is an opportunity to help shape the culture and guest experience of a new luxe beach bar built around elevated hospitality.

Our bartenders are equal parts craftsperson, entertainer, host, and teammate. Ideal candidates are confident in high-volume service, passionate about cocktails and guest engagement, and understand that the smallest details create the most memorable experiences.

You will be expected to execute drinks with consistency and speed while delivering warm, attentive, and energetic service that reflects the elevated Korean hospitality spirit of Jeong.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits with precision, consistency, and urgency
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences through engaging, attentive, and hospitality-forward interactions
• Maintain expert knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, beer, wine, and menu offerings
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked bar stations at all times
• Execute opening, prep, and closing procedures according to house standards
• Assist with batching, garnish prep, product rotation, inventory organization, and nightly resets
• Follow all sanitation, food safety, and responsible alcohol compliance standards
• Maintain a professional and polished guest-facing appearance
• Handle high-volume service while maintaining composure and attention to detail
• Collaborate closely with servers, barbacks, managers, and team members to ensure seamless operation
• Create a positive work environment for guests and fellow team members
• Uphold Hannah's culture, standards, and energy throughout every shift
• Emphasize continual communication and improvement
• Other responsibilities deemed necessary by store management

What we're looking for:

• 2+ years bartending experience in a high-volume bar, cocktail bar, restaurant, or hospitality venue preferred
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, and beverage service standards
• Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments
• Positive team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills and willingness to learn
• Professional appearance and polished guest-facing presence
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Nights, weekends, and holiday availability required
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Prior opening team experience is a plus
• Familiarity with Korean food, beverage, or hospitality culture is appreciated but not required
• City of Long Branch ABC Card is required.

Available shifts and compensation:

• 24+ hours per week including days, evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts
• Seasonal and year-round opportunities available based on performance
• Compensation: $6.05/hour plus tips
