Registered Nurse - Pre-Op Ambulatory Surgery Unit #26-14196 RN-Registered Nurse // Pre Op All On-site Contract Starts 6/15/2026 13 weeks Job Description Day Shift 12 hours/day 3 days/week Unit Information Pre-Op Holding / ASU (709) Floor: (not specified) Number of Beds – 9 Preop beds, 5 Phase 2 recovery beds Number of Staff – 8 full‑time RNs (2 open positions), 2 part‑time RNs, 4 PRN RNs, 1 unit HUC Type of equipment – Pyxis, Client MACVU EKG machine, Doppler, patient scale, bladder scanner Qualifications Skill set most recruited for: Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters (candidates lacking these skills will not be considered) Minimum 1‑year current acute care Pre‑Op RN hospital experience (preferred) Some pre‑op experience, or ability to help pre‑op staff Experience with Phase 2 recoveries of Urology, GYN, and other SDS patients Pre‑op surgery, endo, cath lab, EP, CT patients, outpatient infusions, outpatient EKGs, blocks, blood transfusions On‑Call On‑call is required with a 30‑minute response time when on‑call.
