Care Partner - Neuro ICU FT Night Shift 18:45 - 07:15

Organization Neuro ICU 20 Job Summary Assist with the delivery of patient care and maintenance of unit environmental standards under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Schedule Full‑Time Night Shift – 6:45 pm – 7:15 am (three 12‑hour shifts per week) Shifts rotate throughout the week Set schedules are not available. Schedules are determined by unit clinical staffing needs. All employees (night shift & PRN included) are required to attend hospital orientation during regular daytime hours during the first week of employment. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) Current enrollment in a professional RN program with successful completion of the first semester (including nursing fundamentals clinical), or Graduation from a Nursing Assistant or Aide Training Program within the past year (certificate of completion required), or Minimum of one year of recent experience (within the past two years) as a care partner, nursing assistant, or patient care technician. Preferred Qualifications One year of previous experience in a hospital setting Flexible availability Professionalism and reliability Excellent communication and teamwork skills High emotional intelligence Key Responsibilities Assist with the delivery of patient care and maintenance of unit environmental standards under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Assist with day‑to‑day delivery of patient care. Facilitate efficient and safe patient care and flow by following work area standards. Serve as a liaison for communication and education of patient and family needs. Support unit operations and patient flow by maintaining supplies, equipment, and unit environmental standards. Additional duties may be assigned. Technical Capabilities Clinical Competencies (Novice): Demonstrates competence with interventions such as point‑of‑care testing, vital signs, etc. Care Partner Patient Documentation (Novice): Independently works with clinical applications for patient documentation. Environment of Care (Novice): Demonstrates ability to set up and maintain patient rooms, supplies, and equipment. Planning & Organizing (Novice): Demonstrates ability to anticipate basic resource needs, identify discrete tasks, participate in goal setting, schedule activities, meet deadlines, and organize work for own assignments and responsibilities. Core Accountabilities Perform routine tasks that impact team performance with occasional guidance. Utilize discretion and research to solve routine problems. Apply knowledge of standards, processes, and procedures that apply to the job. Provide guidance to entry‑level colleagues.
