Syndicated Loan Operations Specialist

Seeking an experienced syndicated loan operations professional to join the FID Secured Lending (FSL) Operations team on a temporary basis. The business is experiencing significant growth, and this role will provide immediate production support across loan booking, participant servicing, and agency servicing functions within LoanIQ. This is a highly hands-on role requiring someone who can contribute from day one with minimal ramp-up. Prior experience at a major syndicated lending institution, either on the agent bank or participant side, is required. Responsibilities Book new loan facilities in LoanIQ, including deal, facility, and loan-level hierarchy setup based on credit agreement terms Extract and input commercial terms including pricing grids, commitment amounts, maturity dates, repayment schedules, borrowing bases, and financial covenants Set up deal economics to support regulatory capital calculations, risk exposure reporting, and credit availability Coordinate with Front Office, Legal, and Product Control teams on closing mechanics and funding instructions Process participant servicing events including interest payments, fee payments, principal repayments, rate resets, and rollovers Reconcile agent bank notices against LoanIQ records and resolve discrepancies involving payment amounts, accruals, and rates Process borrowing base certificates, compliance certificates, amendments, extensions, and waivers Perform agency servicing functions including payment distributions, lender position management, and syndicate servicing activities Manage primary syndication activity, secondary trade settlements, assignments, participations, and commitment changes Generate and distribute lender notices including drawdowns, rate settings, paydowns, amendments, and waiver requests Process SOFR rate resets and calculate all-in rates including applicable margins and floors Ensure transactions are completed within SLAs and in accordance with operational controls and procedures Escalate operational breaks, exceptions, and fails as needed Support month-end and quarter-end processing, accrual verification, and GL reconciliation support Qualifications 6+ years of syndicated loan operations experience within a bank, fund administrator, or financial institution Strong hands-on LoanIQ experience required, including deal/facility/loan hierarchy navigation, servicing event processing, and troubleshooting Experience across at least two of the following areas: loan booking/deal setup, participant servicing, or agency servicing Understanding of SOFR lending conventions including lookback mechanics, compounding methods, and fallback provisions Ability to read and interpret credit agreements, amendments, and agent notices Strong attention to detail in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment Prior experience at a bulge-bracket or large regional bank preferred Experience with structured credit products such as CLO warehouses, CRE warehouses, and subscription finance/capital call facilities is a plus Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics or similar workflow/case management tools preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Phyton Talent Advisors
