Legal Billing Coordinator

Job ID#: 39464 A respected Houston law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Billing Coordinator to manage the full-cycle legal billing process. This role works closely with attorneys and the accounting team to ensure accurate, timely billing and compliance with client requirements. Responsibilities Generate, review, and process prebills and invoices Edit billing narratives and implement attorney billing revisions Manage trust accounting, retainers, and unallocated cash reconciliations Maintain client and matter billing information Prepare and submit LEDES invoices through e-billing platforms Monitor UTBMS coding compliance and resolve billing submission issues Collaborate with attorneys and finance personnel to meet billing deadlines Qualifications 3–5+ years of legal billing experience in a law firm Strong knowledge of legal billing systems, LEDES formats, and UTBMS coding Experience with e-billing platforms such as CounselLink, Legal Tracker, Tymetrix, CounselGo, Brightflag, or BillingPoint Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills Benefits Competitive salary Performance bonus opportunity PTO and paid holidays 401(k) with employer contribution Medical, dental, and vision insurance HSA/FSA options Life and disability insurance Professional development opportunities Free onsite parking #J-18808-Ljbffr Professional Alternatives
