Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift – Emergency Department (ED) Unit Sign on Bonus for Eligible New Hires Location: Texas Health Denton, 3000 N I-35, Denton, TX 76201 Hours: Full‑time night shift, 36 hours weekly, 3–12‑hour shifts, 7:00pm – 7:00am Sign‑on bonus: eligible RNs upon hire with a signed 2‑year retention agreement. ED Department Highlights Patients with critical injuries or illnesses are treated in one of our 41 Emergent Care Rooms. Next stop trauma designation! Here’s What You Need Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred. CLIAFE – Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required). Registered Nurse – RN required upon hire. BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to independent patient care and maintained quarterly (required). ACLS – Within 90days of hire. CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90days of hire. 1year of experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required. 2–3years of ER experience preferred. ENPC – Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course – 12months required. TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course – 12months required. PALS – Within 90days of hire. What You Will Do Deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process: assess, plan, intervene, evaluate effectiveness, and incorporate age‑specific safety/infection‑control measures. Initiate action to meet patient and/or significant others’ need for information. Maintain continuity of patient care inter‑shift, inter‑hospital, and while expediting out‑of‑hospital transfers.
