Overview HR Director – The Pavilion at Kenton Covington, KY We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Director to join our team at The Pavilion at Kenton, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center located in Covington, KY. As an integral part of our organization, the HR Director will play a crucial role in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the human resources department. Position Summary The HR Director leads, directs, plans, and coordinates policies and activities of the human resources department in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards and regulations, and as directed by the Administrator. Key Responsibilities Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the HR department Maintain written job descriptions and performance evaluations for each staff position in accordance with applicable laws Review all requests for new or replacement personnel, fill requests as approved, and arrange interviews, appointments, etc. Check applications and references for prospective employees and arrange for interviews as required or directed Maintain job applications for personnel eligible to work in the facility Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent employee information in accordance with the Privacy Act, as well as the facility's established policies governing the release of information Verify the employee's right to work in this country in accordance with current laws, regulations, and guidelines, obtain the appropriate documentation, and file it in the employee's personnel record Maintain an adequate personnel record filing system that meets the needs of the facility and complies with current employment practices Ensure compliance with current federal and state employment regulations regarding wages, overtime, work hours, workman's compensations, etc. Ensure compliance with hiring/discharge policies and procedures Orient new personnel to the facility and explain personnel policies, procedures, payroll procedures, grievance procedures, etc. as established in the facility's operational policies and procedures Keep department directors informed of changes in personnel matters accordingly Other duties as assigned Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, from an accredited college or university, is preferred Must have, as a minimum, three (3) years of experience with demonstrated success in human resource management Knowledgeable of the laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning personnel administration in post-acute care settings Benefits Competitive Wages and Benefits Package 401(K) Plan Paid Time Off Positive and compassionate environment Supportive Leadership team Additional incentives If you are a motivated and experienced HR professional looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
