Job Summary
Formulate Rx Pharmacy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. This is a compounding position , and prior compounding experience is not required. Training will be provided.

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in learning the specialized field of pharmaceutical compounding and growing with an independent pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of non-sterile compounded medications according to established formulas and procedures
• Accurately weigh, measure, mix, and prepare ingredients under pharmacist supervision
• Follow proper compounding techniques and pharmacy procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant compounding workspace
• Clean and maintain compounding equipment and work areas
• Complete required documentation and compounding records accurately
• Assist with inventory, ingredient organization, and supply management
• Package and label compounded preparations
• Follow quality assurance, safety, and infection-control procedures
• Work collaboratively with pharmacists and other pharmacy team members

Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Florida
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to follow written procedures and compounding protocols
• Intermediate computer skills and comfort learning pharmacy software systems
• Ability to work collaboratively with pharmacists and other team members
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician
• Flexible availability, including weekends
• Compounding experience preferred
