Position Overview  

The Employment Law Case Manager will be responsible for managing employment litigation matters from inception through resolution while working closely with attorneys throughout every stage of the litigation process. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of employment law case management experience and a strong background handling wage and hour, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other employment-related claims. 

This individual must be highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple complex litigation matters in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional client service. 

 

Key Responsibilities  

• Manage employment litigation cases from inception through resolution. 
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the litigation process. 
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status, litigation updates, and case progression. 
• Coordinate with attorneys regarding litigation strategy, discovery, and case deadlines. 
• Draft, prepare, correspondence, and other litigation-related documents 
• Gather, review, and organize employment records, payroll records, personnel files, medical records, and other case-related documentation. 
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, arbitrations, court hearings, and expert appointments. 
• Maintain accurate case files and documentation using Filevine or similar case management software. 
• Monitor litigation deadlines and ensure timely completion of all case-related tasks. 
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and third parties. 
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and legal support staff to efficiently move cases through litigation. 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of Employment Law Case Manager experience required \
• Experience managing employment litigation matters from inception through resolution is required 
• Strong knowledge of California Employment Law and California litigation procedures 
• Experience handling wage and hour, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other employment-related claims is required 
• Experience coordinating discovery, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court deadlines 
• Preparing litigation documents, and managing case files 
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple litigation matters simultaneously 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, attorneys, opposing counsel, and third parties 
• Experience with Filevine or similar case management software is preferred. 
• Professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment 
• Ability to commute daily to our Downtown Los Angeles office 

Hourly Range: $30.00-$40.00 per hour, depending on experience.
