The dispensary partners with small New York farms that prioritize sustainable cultivation and is committed to accessibility, education and giving back to the communities it serves.

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Assistant General Manager / Operations Manager who is passionate about building strong teams, improving operations and helping a growing cannabis business succeed.
Position Overview The Assistant General Manager / Operations Manager will support store leadership in overseeing day-to-day dispensary operations, managing inventory and vendor relationships and maintaining compliance with New York State cannabis regulations.

This individual will also serve as the manager on duty when senior store leadership is unavailable.

Key Responsibilities

• Support store leadership in overseeing daily operations and employee performance
• Manage inventory processes, control procedures and inventory management systems
• Monitor sales trends, forecast inventory needs and develop replenishment schedules
• Maintain accurate inventory records and required compliance documentation
• Manage supplier and vendor relationships, including pricing and delivery terms
• Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions
• Ensure store operations remain compliant with all applicable cannabis regulations
• Serve as the acting manager on duty when store leadership is off-site
• Help create a professional, welcoming and community-focused customer experience

Performance Incentive Program

Upon conversion to a permanent employee, this position may be eligible for a quarterly performance incentive program.

• Performance goals are updated quarterly
• The program includes three incentive tiers
• Annual incentive potential ranges from $10,000 to $30,000
• Incentives are based on individual contributions and overall business growth

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• At least five years of management, operations or retail leadership experience
• Cannabis industry experience is preferred but not required
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing inventory, vendors and operational systems
• Ability to lead employees and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Experience with inventory management systems is preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
