Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary Business System Analyst will be based in Dallas, TX, reporting to the Information Systems Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for exploring complex business problems and solving them with automated, customized, standardized system implementations and solutions. You will design detailed automated systems and processes to increase efficiency, create frameworks and processes, troubleshoot technical malfunctions, conduct risk research, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver viable, consistent solutions. Typical Day Research complex business problems and propose automated solutions to improve operations and processes efficiency. Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing cost‑effective systems and procedures; consult with users on automated systems. Research, design, and test new systems and enhancements to meet site business or customer requirements. Identify required improvements, supervise implementation, and ensure delivery meets business needs. Communicate with users to troubleshoot and resolve day‑to‑day system issues and maintain smooth operation. Qualifications Functional knowledge and educational background in Systems or Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, programming, or related career fields. 6–8 years of related experience. Experience with formal problem‑solving root cause analysis. Demonstrated compliance experience (e.g., SOX, ISO 2001). Good understanding of existing systems and functionalities.
