LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE – WOODLANDS NURSING AND REHABILITATION CENTER Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity in a caring environment. Responsibilities Assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Delegate duties to professional nurses and non‑professional nursing personnel and monitor work performance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Observe patients for symptoms and/or reactions, including general physical and mental condition for signs indicative of adverse change. Assist with notifying attending physicians of emergencies and death of patients in the unit. Implement changes in orders as instructed or ordered by physicians. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements High school graduate. Licensed Practical Nurse, graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing and submit proof of license renewal every other year. Willingness to work as charge nurse and during emergencies to assure adequate coverage. Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctors’ orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing. CPR certified yearly. Attend in‑service training and other staff meetings as required. Background checks and drug‑free workplace required. EEO. #J-18808-Ljbffr
