Acme Brick Company (a Berkshire Hathaway Company) is an organization of professionals in the manufacturing and building material distribution industry. We manufacture brick and distribute our own brick as well as brick and associated products manufactured by others. Essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may be assigned). This is a safety sensitive position*

• Operate Front Loader, Dump Truck, Backhoe, Bull Dozer, Water Truck, Articulating Truck and any other equipment used in handling of clay material
• Perform general utility work
• Perform maintenance on equipment

Skills and experience required for success

• Previous experience in a non-climate-controlled production environment
• Ability to stand and walking up to 2 miles
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds of force in sweeping and shoveling
• Ability to wear PPE (personal protection equipment) required and provided

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; OR one to three months related experience AND/OR training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
