ASE Certified Auto Technician – Lafayette, LA

Looking for a shop that values experience and professionalism?

Carencro Automotive Center is seeking an ASE Certified Auto Technician to join our growing team serving the Lafayette area.

This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, strong diagnostics, and treating customers the right way. We're not a high-pressure chain shop—we focus on honest work, steady workflow, and building long-term relationships with both customers and employees.

Compensation: $35–$45 per hour based on experience and certifications
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on domestic and import vehicles
Identify mechanical and electrical issues accurately
Complete repairs efficiently and according to industry standards
Work collaboratively with advisors and fellow technicians
Maintain organized repair documentation and workflow

Qualifications

ASE certifications preferred
Strong diagnostic and repair background
Minimum 3 years of hands-on automotive experience
Own tools and reliable transportation
Professional attitude and dependable attendance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
