ASE Certified Auto Technician – Lafayette, LA

Carencro Automotive Center is seeking an ASE Certified Auto Technician to join our growing team serving the Lafayette area.

This role is ideal for a technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, strong diagnostics, and treating customers the right way. We're not a high-pressure chain shop—we focus on honest work, steady workflow, and building long-term relationships with both customers and employees.

Compensation: $35–$45 per hour based on experience and certifications
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on domestic and import vehicles
• Identify mechanical and electrical issues accurately
• Complete repairs efficiently and according to industry standards
• Work collaboratively with advisors and fellow technicians
• Maintain organized repair documentation and workflow

Qualifications

• ASE certifications preferred
• Strong diagnostic and repair background
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on automotive experience
• Own tools and reliable transportation
• Professional attitude and dependable attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
