Automotive Repair Technician – Carencro, LA

Carencro Automotive Center is hiring an Automotive Repair Technician to join our established team in Carencro, LA.
We're looking for a dependable technician who enjoys solving problems, working with a strong team, and taking pride in delivering quality repairs. Whether handling maintenance services or more advanced repair work, you'll have the support, equipment, and consistent workflow needed to succeed.
Compensation: $35–$45 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM | No Weekends
Daily Responsibilities
Perform vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repair work
Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns
Complete repairs according to shop and industry standards
Use modern diagnostic tools and shop equipment
Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair status and findings
Preferred Experience
Automotive repair experience required
Diagnostic ability strongly preferred
ASE certifications are a plus
Own hand tools
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to maintain productivity while delivering quality work
