By leveraging over five decades of manufacturing expertise and employing an extensive technologies portfolio, we design, manufacture, and finish incomparable stock and customized solutions for numerous markets./ppPosition: Coatings Line Operator/ppLocation: New Albany, OH/ppDepartment: Metallizing/ppReports to: Crew Leads/ppShifts: Third Shift Monday Friday, 10pm - 6:30am/ph3Job Summary/h3pThis production floor position is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the plastic metalizing lines. Monitors all steps in the metalizing process, resulting in overall product consistency, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout the shift./ph3Essential Functions/h3ulliResponsible for setting up the line per job card requirements, continuous operation of machines, and mixing and replenishment of paint supply./liliCommunicates with team members regarding operating conditions, paint mixture, special problems, etc., that occurred during the shift./liliContinuously monitors each step of the metalizing process for quality of parts, and performs regular inspections of color, cross-hatching, adhesion, and aesthetic assessment./liliCleans machines and performs preventative maintenance./liliKeeps production team informed throughout the shift on pertinent issues with the processes or parts that could affect production and ensures Take Off team is supplied with raw parts./liliMaintains a clean line, free of clutter. Stores equipment properly./liliPerforms basic troubleshooting on the line under the direction of the Metalizing Technician and Process Engineering Technician./liliProperly completes required paperwork regarding parts produced, scrap, and paint consumption, and communicates all pertinent issues throughout shift./liliAll other duties as assigned to support production./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliProficient in basic maintenance and troubleshooting./liliMust be able to follow specific instructions for paint measurement and preparation./liliComputer proficient-Microsoft Windows based computer operation./liliMust be able to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice or on weekends./liliAbility to use both hands to pick-up and manipulate small parts simultaneously./liliWilling to take direction from others./liliCapable of standing for long periods of time./liliAbility to lift up to 50 lbs./liliCan successfully work in a team environment./liliExperience in industrial paint application a plus./li/ulh3Compensation/h3pFrom $20.50.
