Description

Drug Plastics Corporate Office is looking for you to join our team! As a Logistics Coordinator, you ensure timely preparation and movement for all domestic, international, intercompany, and vendor shipments! This is a Monday thru Friday, 8am-5pm, hourly position.

Some Responsibilities Include:

• Ensure timely preparation and movement for all domestic, international, intercompany, and vendor shipments
• Keep up-to-date of all changes to transportation/logistics regulations and documentation requirements
• Maintain departmental records on critical items
• Gather pertinent external data
• Communicating with internal customers and freight/transportation suppliers
• Work closely with Drug Plastics Customer Service Department, Plants' Shipping Departments, Customer's Freight Forwarder, Carriers, and 3PL's
• Process freight claims (investigation through resolution)

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business or chain supply (emphasis in Logistics preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years experience in domestic and international transportation and logistics
• Familiarity with laws and regulations as they apply to logistics
• Proficiency in PC Software including but not limited to: Microsoft Suite, experience in ERP systems, Databases, UPS and Carrier Portal

• Ability to clearly convey timely and high-quality information
• Ability to anticipate and respond effectively to the needs of both internal and external customers
• Ability to adopt a structured and integrated approach to work, prioritizing, needs and creating comprehensive, realistic and effective plans in order to meet business requirements
