If the answer is yes, we invite you to consider joining us in boldly challenging what's possible for a sustainable world.Learn about our benefits designed for you to Thrive at work and at home.We boldly go.Where is the work:On-Site (5 days)Key ResponsibilitiesPerform inspection of components using standard inspection tools and FARO Arm equipment.Verify component dimensions and geometric features against engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerance requirements.Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, indicators, and related inspection tools.Operate FARO Arm equipment to measure, inspect, and validate part conformance.Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements to ensure accurate inspection results.Document measurement and inspection results accurately and maintain complete quality records.Assist with first article, in-process, and final inspection activities as required.Collaborate with quality, engineering, and manufacturing teams to support product conformance and continuous improvement.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Technical training, certificate, or associate degree in metrology, quality, manufacturing, machining, or a related field preferred.Experience performing dimensional inspection in a manufacturing or quality environment.Hands-on experience using precision inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, and height gages.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and tolerances.Basic understanding of GD&T and dimensional inspection methods.Good communication and teamwork skills to support collaboration across quality, engineering, and production.CompetenciesUse of precision measuring instrumentsCalibration methods and practicesDimensional inspection techniquesUnderstanding of tolerances and specificationsKnowledge of gage control systemsFamiliarity with metrology equipment and toolsBasic understanding of GD&TRoot cause investigation supportData entry and calibration software usageUnderstanding of traceability requirementsAnnual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:$27.00Compensation Type:HourlyIncentive Eligible:NoSales Commission Eligible:NoDisclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
