Job Description
The concierge/receptionist performs a variety of administrative support duties including: greeting all visitors to the community, answering the telephone, transferring calls to appropriate party, and taking accurate messages. Monitors walkie-talkie, door security system and fire panel as needed. Monitors resident sign-in and sign-out log and the visitor registration log and completes administrative support functions such as filing and making copies.

Responsibilities

• Transfers calls or takes messages as appropriate in a courteous, friendly, and helpful manner.
• Completes and logs service request forms for residents and staff.
• Monitors and greets visitors to the community in a welcoming and professional manner.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and organized front desk and lobby area at all times.
• Sells meal tickets and accurately accounts for payments through payroll deduction or personal check.
• Ensures the security of the building by monitoring resident sign-in and sign-out logs and visitor registration logs.
• Periodically checks building entrances and exits to help ensure the community remains secure.
• Attends required in-services and staff meetings.
• Assists with coordinating the community van schedule for residents.
• Follows confidentiality policies regarding the release of resident information.
• Provides supportive office functions for all departments, including filing, typing, copying, and other administrative tasks.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be considerate, neat, well-groomed
