Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Responsibilities - Assists operations and logistic by expediting backlog and coordinating with vendors, colleagues, Test house and/or shipping partners to process orders by their due dates. - Inspect incoming merchandise. - Verify that both products and documentation are according to purchase orders (quantity, part numbers, description, etc) - allocate them to their designated place - Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control - Read shipping orders, pick and pack product for shipment. - Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents, gather and maintain all data relative to shipping activities by uploading into our ERP system. - Schedule outbound shipments in accordance with customer orders. - Contact carriers representative to make arrangements and issue instructions for product pick up. - Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work environment. - Additional duties as required and or assigned. Skills - Minimum 2 years' experience as receiving/shipping expeditor or similar position - - Experience in the Aerospace/ELECTRONIC Components industry and ERP systems a plus. - Pentagon 2000 software a plus - Working knowledge of computer programs MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) - prepare shipments via DHL, FEDEX and UPS websites is a must. - Excellent organizational skills - Keen eye for detail - Able to lift up to 30 lbs - - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Proficiency in English, both oral and written, required. Schedule: - Up to 8 hours/day, full-time - Monday to Friday only No weekends
