As a Rehabilitation Technician, you will: Provide support as an active member of our rehabilitation team: physical, occupational & speech therapy Assist patients to their therapy groups Complete essential administrative tasks Prepare therapy room for patient care Coordination of Telehealth.

Primary responsibilities

• Administrative & Front Office Support
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and courteously
• Schedule therapy appointments and maintain daily therapy schedules
• Assist with insurance verification and authorization processes
• Prepare, organize, and maintain patient records and documentation
• Manage filing, scanning, and other clerical tasks
• Communicate with residents, family members, physicians, and staff regarding therapy services
• Patient & Department Support
• Transport residents safely to and from therapy appointments as needed
• Assist therapists with treatment room and equipment setup
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure supplies are readily available
• Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the therapy gym and treatment areas
• Support therapists with non-clinical tasks to promote efficient patient care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous healthcare experience preferred
