Account Specialist

Responsibilities Procurement and supplier management for assigned hardware and components supporting multiple engine programs Manage supplier on-time delivery, capacity ramp plans, and leading performance indicators to support production schedules Act as the primary point of contact for assigned suppliers, leading issue resolution, escalation, and recovery plans Coordinate cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Materials, Manufacturing, Strategic Sourcing, Continuous Improvement, and Production Readiness teams Maintain uninterrupted supply flow while meeting cost, schedule, quality, and contractual commitments Lead business continuity planning and supplier improvement initiatives Execute standard procurement activities including demand planning, order placement, scheduling, and delivery assurance Ensure compliance with Global Supply Chain standard work, international trade compliance, and RTX Code of Ethics Education and experience Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field Experience in supplier management, procurement, or supply chain operations Experience supporting aerospace, manufacturing, or regulated industrial environments (a plus) Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred Skills and knowledge Ability to manage multiple supplier accounts and competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including email, phone, and presentation interaction U.S. citizenship required to access controlled systems and programs Knowledge of supplier performance management, capacity planning, and production readiness Familiarity with international trade compliance and supply chain risk mitigation is preferred Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills is a plus Belcan is an equal opportunity employer.
