Operations ManagerThe Operations Manager will be responsible for managing a staff of CDL Drivers and Warehouse Associates. The Operations Manager will oversee delivery of products to our clients in a timely manner, maintain inventory levels, and work with a team to achieve the branch's goals. Must possess strong communication skills and a passion for safety.ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a team of material handlers and drivers by developing metrics, coaching and evaluating performance, and using productivity systems of measurementEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws pertaining to employment, safety, OSHA Standards, and DOT regulationsFill customer orders accurately, safely, on time, and without damageCollaborate and foster a positive relationship with Sales and Administrative functionsEnsure effective product performance and promote good customer and supplier relationsRecognize employee achievements and encourage excellence through employee engagementPlan and conduct regular staff meetings and branch level eventsHost operations meetings to monitor operational issues, customer concerns, and compliance and safety regulationsEnsure staff are following safe work practices, completing job duties efficiently, and that adequate support is providedAdhere to high ethical and professional standards set forth by the companyInteract with customers, vendors, and other leaders on a regular basis to ensure client satisfaction and promote improved servicesRequirementsHigh school diploma/GED requiredMinimum of 1 year of management experienceExperience in logistics, manufacturing, or distribution strongly preferredExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skillsSuperior interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organizationAbility to think independently and critically, analyze and solve problems, and successfully implement solutionsAbility to travel up to 10%Effective time management and prioritization skills; must be flexible and demonstrate the ability to change course quickly as neededExperience with Microsoft applicationsBenefitsMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceCompany Paid Life InsuranceDisability Insurance401(k) (with company matching)Paid Time OffPaid Holidays
