As our Corporate Compliance Specialist, you will partner directly with our General Counsel to build the scalable compliance foundation that powers our continued growth. You will own the compliance lifecycle—from multi-jurisdictional licensing to project prequalification—transforming complex requirements into efficient, streamlined processes that enable us to support growth with confidence.

Create a standard operating playbook for new market entries.
Centralized Communications: Act as the primary point of contact and registered agent liaison for all regulatory jurisdictions. Ensure all renewal notices, and legal correspondence are securely captured and processed centrally.
Project Prequalifications: Coordinate with estimating, safety, and operational leadership to prepare, submit, and maintain comprehensive prequalification packages for prospective General Contractors and clients (including platforms like Avetta, ISNetworld, COMPASS, etc.).
COI and Insurance Management: Oversee the issuance and tracking of project-specific Certificates of Insurance (COIs). Review subcontractor contracts to ensure appropriate insurance coverage is maintained, and ensure upstream compliance with GC requirements.
Process Improvement & Technology: Evaluate, implement, and maintain compliance tracking software or modules to move the organization away from manual/decentralized monitoring.
Contract Administration: Review, edit and process construction and service agreements. Support internal company representatives with contract interpretation and drafting. Research and understand contract requirements for applicable jurisdictions.
Litigation and Claim support: Assist with claims and litigation, including drafting notice or demand letters, support document collection and review and draft and organize litigation hold notices,
Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience managing corporate compliance, legal assistant tasks, or licensing within the construction, engineering, or commercial real estate industries.
Experience with construction ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica) and dedicated compliance/licensing software (e.g., Harbor Compliance, CSC) is highly advantageous.
Exceptional organizational skills, strict attention to detail, and a proven track record of handling high-volume, deadline-driven filings independently. Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable compliance systems across the organization.
Working Conditions:
This role is eligible for our hybrid work model. To ensure a strong start, we ask for a minimum of 90 days in the office at the start to wrap your arms around the role, build essential in-person connections, and gain the organizational knowledge needed for success before transitioning to our hybrid schedule.
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
