Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 26 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Assignment Duration This role is offered for a duration of 26 weeks. Schedule This position requires a Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, from 19:00 to 07:30, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. Job Description The Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital setting. The nurse will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients primarily in a Medical-Surgical unit while maintaining telemetered patient care capabilities. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake charge RN responsibilities and may be floated to any Cone Health campus as needed. Responsibilities Administer blood products and manage peripheral line care. Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs, including EKG interpretation. Start IVs and manage intravenous medication protocols. Utilize rapid response and code teams as necessary. Adhere to isolation precautions and infection control protocols. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active RN license required. 2 years of relevant nursing experience required, including previous charge experience. BLS certification required.
