Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 25 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Title : Registered Nurse - MS/Tele Location: Greensboro, NC 27403 Duration : 26 Weeks Important: No 13-week option. Traveler MUST accept a 26-week contract if offered . Shift: Night Shift – 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3x12s) HPW: 36 Experience & Requirements: Position is posted as MS/Tele due to EKG requirements for all RNs and the tele-capable unit; however, the patient population will be primarily Medical-Surgical . 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio. AHA BLS certification required . EPIC experience required. Traveler must successfully pass an EKG exam during onboarding . Must be comfortable working Charge RN shifts as needed . Every other weekend (EOW) and holiday rotation required. Floating required as needed ; all travelers may be required to float across all Cone Health facilities. Experience with Rapid Response teams . Experience with blood product administration , peripheral line care/management, and starting IVs. Experience with Heparin, Insulin, and PCA . Experience caring for patients requiring nasal cannula oxygen . Knowledge and experience with isolation precautions . COVID-19 vaccination requirement: Medical/Religious exemptions only .
