Pharmacy Technician

Employment Type Full time Shift Day Shift (1st) Hours The Pharmacy hours are 8AM - 8PM and Saturday/Sunday: 8AM-4:30PM. Weekends and holidays are on rotating schedules. Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician temporary licensure upon hire. Must achieve Pharmacy Technician Certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) within 5 months of hire. Minimum six months of pharmacy work experience. Responsibilities Prepare, package, and distribute medication orders per physician or pharmacist request, or prearranged work assignments. Complete ASHP didactic learning modules as assigned. Achieve a passing score on all quizzes and tests related to ASHP didactic learning. Complete all experiential learning activities as assigned. Provide customer service to medical professionals.
