Description Performs analysis of blood, urine, stool, and body fluids. Evaluates reports based on clinical and analytical conditions and maintains quality of laboratory testing. Employment Type Part time Shift Evening Shift (Variable) What you will need Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Scientist (Medical Technology) or related discipline. Registry or Certification by professional organization such as the ASCP or equivalent is required. Continuation of employment is contingent on passing ASCP or equivalent within 18 months of hire. Ability to read, speak and write English effectively. Evaluates reports based on clinical and analytical conditions and maintains quality of laboratory testing. What you will do Collect appropriate specimen samples as required. Ensure specimen identification is accurate when aliquoting specimens and resulting tests. Demonstrate competency in performance of analytical laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other body fluids or specimens according to laboratory policy. Evaluate test results in light of the patient’s clinical condition and analytical testing conditions according to laboratory policy.
