Qualifications of an ideal Life Engagement Director:
- Valid driver's license in the state of residency
- Combination of education and/or experience working with seniors
- 2-3 years of experience in senior living as an activities/life engagement director
Life Engagement Director Job Summary:
Life Engagement Director is responsible for implementing programs to promote all areas of wellness including physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
- Plan, promote, implement, coordinate, and evaluate activities in all levels of care.
- Supervise, schedule, and evaluate Activity Assistants during scheduled events
- Develop, post, and maintain a monthly schedule and newsletter in a timely manner to residents
- Ensure timely, safe, secure, and dependable transportation services for residents
