Wound Ostomy Nurse (RN)

This position requires a full-time commitment, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Description

The Wound Ostomy Nurse is responsible for providing specialized care to patients with complex wound and ostomy needs. This role requires a minimum of two years of recent experience in the specialty.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a current RN license.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• CWON(R) or CWOCN(R) certification is required for all RNs in the WOC Nurse role.
• Wound care certification required: WCC, CWS, or CWCN.
• Ostomy certification is optional.

Holidays

The selected candidate must be available to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
