Project Manager – Manufacturing Location: Franklin, MA Pay: Up to $50/hour, depending on experience Position Summary The Panther Group is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee customer-driven projects from initiation through completion. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys working directly with customers while coordinating Engineering, Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Sales to ensure projects are delivered on time and exceed expectations. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables Coordinate activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Production, and Sales Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates to both customers and internal stakeholders Identify project risks and implement solutions to keep projects on schedule Support New Product Introductions (NPIs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and continuous improvement initiatives Monitor project progress using project management tools and performance metrics Build long-term customer relationships through exceptional communication and execution Participate in process improvement initiatives that increase operational efficiency Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred Minimum of 3 years of Project Management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, electronics, automation, or engineered products environment Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong customer-facing communication and relationship management skills Experience leading cross-functional teams Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Planner, or similar project management software is preferred Experience supporting Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), New Product Introductions (NPIs), or manufacturing operations is highly desirable Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus Why You\'ll Be Successful The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
