Why This Role Matters
As a Client Services Specialist, you'll help clients navigate their day-to-day insurance needs through responsive service, accurate policy updates, and clear communication. Your ability to understand client concerns, coordinate solutions, and maintain complete records will help build lasting relationships and deliver a consistent client experience.
You'll support a specific operational pillar, such as Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, Marketing, CBU, or another specialty area, and report to that pillar's Director. Working closely with Sales, Renewal, and Account Support teams, you'll coordinate service activities throughout the account lifecycle and help ensure client needs receive timely attention.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal partners through dependable, attentive service.
- Respond to client and account inquiries promptly, helping resolve concerns and keeping clients informed.
- Process and follow up on endorsements, policy changes, and service transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Review policy documents and changes for accuracy and alignment with carrier requirements, agency procedures, and applicable compliance standards.
- Coordinate with Sales to support accurate new business setup and a smooth transition into ongoing service.
- Partner with Renewal Specialists to handle service tasks and client requests outside the renewal workflow.
- Identify potential coverage gaps and additional account needs, referring opportunities to Sales.
- Handle mid-term remarkets and identify account rounding and upsell opportunities.
- Coordinate communication among clients, producers, carriers, and internal teams to support timely service.
- Maintain accurate account activity, documentation, and system records.
- Collaborate with Account Support Associates to complete processing tasks and keep workflows moving.
- Participate in team huddles and training to stay aligned on procedures, service expectations, carrier updates, and best practices.
- Pursue continuing education to maintain and strengthen your knowledge of insurance products, carriers, and industry developments.
- Protect confidential employee and client information and follow ethical standards in all account activities.
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Who You Are
- A relationship-focused professional who enjoys helping clients understand and manage their insurance needs.
- Responsive and empathetic, with a commitment to making each client interaction helpful and professional.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to balance daily service requests and follow-up responsibilities.
- A resourceful problem-solver who follows issues through to resolution.
- A clear communicator who keeps clients and colleagues informed.
- Collaborative and comfortable coordinating across teams.
- Adaptable and interested in using technology to improve efficiency and service.
- Discreet and dependable when handling sensitive information.
What You Bring
Day One:
- 1–3 years of experience in a sales, account management, or customer service position.
- High school diploma or GED, or an associate degree in Business Administration or a similar field.
- Florida 2-20 Insurance License, or a Florida 20-44 Insurance License for a Personal Lines-only assignment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of insurance products, coverages, policies, procedures, and underwriting principles.
- Experience building client relationships, understanding individual needs, and providing tailored insurance solutions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage daily responsibilities effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a persistent approach to resolving client concerns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to shared team goals.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and emerging AI tools to improve efficiency and workflows.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, following ethical standards, and staying current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Valuable Additions:
- Experience in the Property and Casualty insurance industry.
