About the Role
The Company is in search of an Associate General Counsel - Commercial to spearhead the global commercial legal function. This pivotal role is at the crossroads of legal, sales, and strategy, with a focus on supporting go-to-market initiatives and driving enterprise growth. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to senior leadership, responsible for negotiating complex customer agreements, and leading the evolution of legal processes to keep pace with the business's rapid expansion. Key responsibilities include shaping contract management systems, implementing AI-driven legal workflows, and developing frameworks for efficient, customer-focused deal execution. The role also involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to manage legal and operational risk while driving revenue. The ideal candidate for this role at the company will have over a decade of commercial legal experience, particularly in SaaS and technology transactions. A pragmatic business mindset and the ability to provide actionable guidance in fast-paced, high-growth environments are essential. The Associate General Counsel will also be involved in advising on data privacy, IP, and regulatory matters, and will be expected to mentor legal team members to foster a high-performance culture.
