Your role in our mission includes the following responsibilities:

• Support attorneys in all phases of estate planning, probate, guardianship, wills, and trust matters.
• Draft, format, and proofread pleadings, motions, orders, and other court documents.
• Prepare and respond to discovery, including organizing, indexing, and summarizing documents.
• File documents with the appropriate courts (e-filing and in-person as needed) and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines.
• Maintain and update case calendars, including hearings, deadlines, client meetings, and court appearances.
• Prepare trial and hearing binders, exhibits, witness lists, and related materials.
• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional and timely manner.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Coordinate signing appointments and assist with execution of estate planning documents.
• Perform legal research and factual investigation as needed to support case strategy.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys and other team members to move cases forward efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned to support the estate planning and probate practice.

• Must have a minimum of 2+ years of estate planning/probate, experience in TX, 5+ years are most preferred. 
• An Associate’s degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Excellent typing skills and computer literacy, including a solid understanding MS Office and or Google Suite applications.
• Proficiency on Clio and TxDoc OR similar software.
• Demonstrate proficiency to focus on details, handle multiple tasks, and remain highly organized.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor and positive communicator.
