RN - MedSurg

Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift - Med/Surg/Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Every other weekend required; 2 shifts plus one day of on-site training with an educator.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Med/Surg/Telemetry unit. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, including monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
• Administer medications and assist in medical procedures as required.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to improve patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry setting.
• Current RN license, with consideration for NC or Compact license pending.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Experience with medication administration and IV therapy, including starting and maintaining IVs.
