Email Retention Marketing SpecialistAs an Email Retention Marketing Specialist, you will be the driving force behind our customer retention and lifecycle strategies. In this role, you'll own the end-to-end execution of high-impact email and SMS campaigns, crafting personalized customer journeys that build lasting brand loyalty and boost Customer Lifetime Value (LTV).We're looking for a data-driven strategist and creative builder who thrives on testing, optimizing, and scaling lifecycle programs across multiple channels- including email, SMS, direct mail, and loyalty initiatives. Working closely with our Site Experience, Creative and Brand teams, you will turn data insights into innovative customer experiences while ensuring flawless execution, QA, and regulatory compliance. If you are passionate about audience segmentation, cross-channel experimentation, and turning one-time buyers into lifelong brand advocates, we'd love to have you on the team.Our ideal candidate will embody the following:Detail-oriented, highly organized, and strong at managing multiple priorities at onceCurious, flexible, and open to change, with a test-and-learn mindsetCustomer-obsessed with a strong ability to understand what motivates customers and how to improve their experiencePassionate about the beauty industry and excited by trends, products, and consumer behaviorWhat does success look like in this role:Lifecycle journeys are shipped accurately, on time, and continuously improvingTesting is consistent, well-documented, and drives measurable performance gainsReporting is reliable and insights lead to clear actions and better customer experiencesCross-channel journeys feel cohesive and intentional across email, SMS, loyalty, subscriptions, and direct mailCampaign-based sends and vendor initiatives are executed smoothly, with clear documentation, clean QA, and dependable follow-throughDuties and ResponsibilitiesCampaign Strategy & ExecutionOwn the end-to-end process of building and deploying promotional and automated email/SMS campaigns.Responsible for targeting, A/B testing, and ensuring flawless execution from concept to deployment.Lifecycle Journey ManagementStrategically develop, manage, and optimize key customer journeys (e.g., welcome, post-purchase, re-engagement, loyalty).Identify opportunities to enhance personalization and segmentation to improve customer lifetime value (LTV).Cross-Channel Platform ManagementSupport the management and execution of retention initiatives across multiple lifecycle channels beyond email.Collaborate with the team on direct mail, subscriptions, loyalty, SMS, and other emerging platforms.Assist in testing, launching, and optimizing new programs that enhance the customer experience.Ensure campaigns across channels feel cohesive and connected within the overall lifecycle strategy.Data Analysis & OptimizationActively monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversion rates, LTV). Use these insights to propose and implement a robust testing roadmap to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and retention.Collaboration & IdeationPartner with the Brand and Creative teams to develop fresh and innovative campaign ideas. Stay on top of industry trends and best practices, bringing new strategies for engagement-focused campaigns to the table.Quality Assurance (QA) & ComplianceOversee the QA process to ensure all campaigns are error-free and aligned with brand standards.
