As a Member Service Representative, you will assist our membership with their financial needs while embodying our people-first approach.We are hiring for a part-time (20 hours/week) position and are looking for candidates that can work a flexible/variable schedule Monday through Saturday.Pay starting at $19.36 an hour.We value our employees and offer generous benefits as a way of thanking our part-time staff for their hard work and dedication to our members and our community.401(k) retirement benefit that includes a company contribution and match.Pet Insurance, HUB TeleHealth and Legal/ID Shield.PTO Accrual (15 days off in the first year of employment).Paid federal holidays and paid birthday day off.These are just a few of the great benefits our part-time employees enjoy!Essential Functions & Responsibilities:Personally greet each member as they enter the branch with an appropriate "Good Morning or Afternoon" and thanking them for coming in as they exit the branch, referring to them by name as often as possible. Must ask members to remove hats and sunglasses as they enter the building.Post and process member financial transactions; including but limited to, deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. Sell cashier checks to members and perform transfers from member accounts as directed.Assist with member service requests which include but limited to address changes, debit card issuance and opening deposit accounts. Answer and resolve member inquiries. Conduct research on member accounts as required or requested.Perform a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, completing title requests, computer input, answering phone calls and directing callers to the appropriate people.Encourage and educate members to use self-service conveniences including, but not limited to, Mobile Banking, Mobile Remote Capture, ATMs, and online banking to enhance their service experience.Identify and refer products and services that are appropriate in assisting the members financial success. Achieve all team and individual sale and service goals.Maintain in-depth knowledge of and comply with all department and security policies, procedures, and federal regulations, including BSA requirements.Other duties as assigned.Experience:Six months to one year of similar or related experience.Customer service and/or considerable experience handling large amounts of cash required.Education: High School diploma or GED.Other skills: Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
